Getting Started

This section explains the shortest path to your first export file.

The basic flow is:

  1. Add a template.
  2. Configure the exported data.
  3. Save the template.
  4. Generate a file.
  5. Download the generated file.

Before You Start​

Make sure you can open FlexiExport from your Wix dashboard. Contributors can use the app unless the site owner disables contributor access or restricts specific actions.

Some actions may also depend on your plan or contributor permissions. If a button is disabled, check the tooltip or ask the site owner to review the settings.

Disabled controls usually mean the current plan does not include the feature or contributor permissions do not allow the action.

Main Paths​

Use Custom if you want to build a template manually and choose the exact data fields.

Use Predefined if you want to start with a ready-made template and adjust it later.

Where Files Appear​

Generated files appear in the Files tab after export preparation finishes. If an export is still running or queued, check the Export activity tab.

Use the View progress action after starting an export to jump directly to Export activity.
