Owner vs Contributor
FlexiExport uses Wix site ownership and contributor permissions to control access.
Site Owner
The site owner can:
- Use the app.
- Create, edit, duplicate, delete, and run templates.
- Download all generated files.
- Download files that contain sensitive fields.
- Configure scheduler, email, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and FTP.
- Manage contributor access.
- Upgrade the plan.
Contributor
Contributors can use only actions allowed by the site owner.
Contributor access can be enabled or disabled globally. Individual actions can also be controlled separately.
Important contributor behavior:
- Contributors can run existing templates when app access is enabled, unless the template is blocked by plan limits or catalog version mismatch.
- Template creation, editing, duplication, deletion, scheduler, storage usage, storage configuration, email recipients, email export file links, and file downloads are controlled by separate settings.
- Downloading files also depends on sensitive-field restrictions and Wix data access checks.
